Global Politics
Global Politics is one of my Higher Level subjects. It is primarily about one question: What are the intentions and perspectives of various actors in political issues and challenges? This is tackled through understanding political issues, deepening understanding of some powerful actors, and learning some political theory. Therefore it involves a lot of analysis and evidence-based reasoning – both skills I am excited to develop. Also, for Higher Level, we will be making 3 presentations about political issues that take our interest. I am interested in taking those opportunities to research questions that have long nagged me, and improve my ability to verbally communicate. Essentially, Global Politics teaches not only a way of approaching what is happening in the world, but develops skills that will help me throughout my life.
