This was our first session of the year. For this session, we made name tags using paper, beads, string, stickers, and etc. You first had to write your name on a piece of paper then thread beads into a piece of string. Finally, attach the string to the piece of paper. Decorate and Voila! You’re done. This arts and crafts activity was a good one to start off with. I think it was a good way to know the clients and learn their names because some of them are regulars. This activity had a lot of options, for example, the colors, decorations, etc. Since this was our first session I think we all learned from it and we knew how to communicative and how to work better with our clients so that we can make our upcoming sessions better. Though for next time we should plan backup activities after the main one because some of the clients finished quickly and were bored after. Overall this was a great start to the year.
