Developing My Touch Rugby Skills in Pre-season Touch – LO2/LO1

Reflection 1: LO2

This year I wanted to take part in pre-season touch so that I can develop and improve my skills in preparation for the actual season which takes place in season 2. This relates to the second learning outcome of CAS which is to demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process. I only started playing touch in high school so even though I have played it before, I am constantly developing new skills and learning new plays. Part of being involved in pre-season touch is attending morning training sessions where we work on fitness, drills that target specific skills and game play. Together, I have definitely taken away a lot of new learning from the experience which I can carry forward in the upcoming touch season.
