After listening to the podcast, I’ve realised that GPERS isn’t just about one person, it’s about everyone and their perspectives on multiple issues. Somethings that I’ve picked up from the podcast are mostly to choose an issue that you’re passionate. The reason being is so that you’ll have more effort coming from your heart and the thoughts aren’t forced. Another thing is that GPER’s isn’t only about essays, whereas during classes you get the opportunity to communicate with your peers to share your thoughts and ideas. It’s also a class where you have to be open minded in order to learn anything, this is because we’ll be learning about one topic in different perspectives so it’s very important to have an open mindset. A lot of the students in the podcast were saying that they were glad to have learnt all of the skills they learnt like resolving conflict and finding a compromise because you can use these skills and apply them to other classes and definitely in the future.
