During the writing of my essay, I have been focusing too much about the word count and the studies around Korean culture in general that I have found personally interesting. Due to that, my essay lacks in flow as I based it on the studies I found rather than the topic. Discussing this with my supervisor, I have found that writing it in one relaxed sitting will help with the flow and I should go back to reevaluate my question and topic every once in a while whilst writing it. Moreover, my essay lacks in analysis because I did not realise the importance of it  prior to my draft and have prioritised the concepts and ideas rather than analyse it. Consequently, my supervisor and I discussed that the next step would be focusing on analysis and making it into a bigger part of my essay as well as connecting the arguments for a better flow.
