If I were to analyse this ad, I would be touching upon the context of the advertisement (and so with other texts). In this advert, it would be interesting to look at the body language and portrayal of the model – the makeup she is wearing, her facial expression, focusing on eyes and lips, both of her hands close together at the top of the steering wheel, her big hair, the many rings, a bit off. The use of colours as well – what do they gain from the use of orange, purple, darker lightning, and highlighting the eyes and skin? I would definitely also look at the anchorage, and then put it on a macro scale.

To pair it up with a global issue, I would use either ‘power’ or ‘culture’. I would try to put the ad in perspective to the general power in advertisement, and explore how it affects our culture and how our culture affects adverts.
