Slavery

Slavery was and still is a big issue in the world today.In the United States of America, it is still legal to have someone work for you, and for you to control their life. I personally think that slavery should be banned but of course it isn’t that simple. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights could not stop slavery as they did not have the force of law and it was optional. To this day, there are around 27 million people that are still slaves, which is something that is concerning to me as it has slavery has not been stopped yet. Another surprising fact is that some people still think it is ok to control others and make them work for you, which I personally don’t agree with.
