Don’t measure a women’s worth by her clothes

Context

  • Swiss human rights organization focusing on gender equality and feminism
  • The ad shows how women are judged with the length of their skirt, height of their heels and the amount of neckline being shown
  • The measuring sticks is to show the judgement and what they get called according to what they wear
  • They are perceived as prude, old fashioned, bore etc
  • these words are used as a language tool
  • women look pale, with dirty feet shows that they are not models
  • taunting and verbal abuse towards women
