In my recent supervisor meeting, I was given advice as to relate my research question to the geographic concept of glocalisation and this was indeed pertinent to some of the changes taking place in the spatial element of Little India within the cosmopolitan environment of Singapore. I have hence learnt to be more open-minded towards constant changes and refinement to my research question, in light of geographic concepts and methodologies. I am very proud of the personal engagement I have felt from the very start of this process until now with my area of study being based on the Indian diaspora (Non-resident Indians) in Singapore within the spatial realm of Little India. My personal engagement has led to my investigation and research yielding more fruitful results. My next step is to devise my questionnaire for my primary data collection so as to ensure it is relevant to the results I intend to deduce and accounts for any controls.
