Firstly, I felt like all the stories had a relatively simple way of hooking the reader in.
The stories used something enticing to play into the readers emotions paired with the use of something out of the ordinary they all shared. Furthermore, the stories had something else in common: I believed they all had an element of femininity and were a social commentary on how women are treated in modern day society. For example the Taylor Swift story was a way of showing how celebrity women are treated be the people around then. Also the last story: girl showed common stereotypes that women or girls should adhere to.
