This was my first time trying out softball, making it a new experience. Since,I play cricket I was familiar with the basics of this game – the batting and fielding part, but they had more complex rules to these basics, making me a take a longer time to get settled in. As a cricketer, anything with a bat and ball excites me, and for this season my goal is to end up hitting the ball for a homerun, while also becoming better at fielding, catching anything. As of now, my batting is not too good, and I would want to improve it by possibly watching videos on it or just practicing at home. This is a new challenge I’m taking upon and so far it has been quite fun. I believe that with my cricket skills, I should be able to catch upon the basics of the game, and end up achieving my goal.
