Writer’s Fortnight Article

After having had the chance to hear all the different stories from various people who’ve gone through different things, an overall takeaway point was ways to convey a story that has a meaning and how that can leave a reader thinking after reading the article. I’ve been really passionate about the work that I’ve been doing with GEP (generation education period – college service) and also taking steps forward into making the service bigger than it is at the moment. But, stepping away from GEP, I feel like as if I’m starting to take interest in the topics of gender equality and the rights of girls and women (much more seriously), as I tried to deliver that message through this piece of writing.
