PSP Session

  1. Which of the four focus weeks (slide one may help here) stood out/had the greatest impact/felt the most relevant to you?
  • International Women’s Day PRESS FOR PROGRESS – G.A.L. (Girls Action League)
  • Sustainability & Environmental Impact Awareness – Student Council & Leaf GC
  • Diversity Day – PRISM Student group
  • Initiative for Peace – transforming awareness into action (IfP)
  1. What new learning or understanding have you gained as a result of one or more of the focus weeks

I learnt about how there are many more than two genders, and that people can really just express themselves the way they want to.

  1. Have you noticed a change in your own behaviour or attitudes or actions? Would you like to make further changes in your own behaviour, attitudes or action

I think I have not really seen many changes in my behaviour.

Commitment to Care

Commitment to Care – what does this mean to me?

Commitment to anything shows that you are passionate and value what you are doing, it shows you really like what you are doing. Commitment to Care means you are committed to caring, it could be caring about anything the environment, human rights, anything it means you are committed to caring about current affairs and you want to help the situation.

Term 2 Goals

As term 2 is getting to a start I would like to set new goals. I think organisation is important also self management so I want to get better.

I believe the key to a good grades is some good studying techniques in which I am able to study efficiently and well to improve grades, I will also try to improve my self management and organisation because these qualities are holding me back sometimes wether I have forgotten my book or not done my homework, once I have completed these goals I feel I will be a better student overall.

Term 1 half term reflection

The best bits so far have been having different classes for everything. The biggest challenges for me have been homework because in the first few weeks I had a lot of homework. The biggest surprise for me had been the level of work I thought grade 9 would be very hard but it is actually manageable. Im most looking forward to my Kenya trip at the end of the year. I learnt that I am able to cope with the amount of work.
