In today’s class, we discussed on what impacts the digital world can have on our relationship on our generation, specifically the bonds and relationship with our several family members.I thought of my question which as you can see, is in the title of my blog post because I felt like our modern generation Z compared to older generation has become addicted to the technological world and we are driven to do things we are not supposed do.We are being controlled or rather provoked to live our life by the digital world’s orders.This question can really help us dive into different perspectives.With further questions, we can dig deeper into this questions and possible get more answers.We would need to avoid bizarre perspectives and possibly from the older generation because at times, some of the technology was not available at that time.

Do people have a free will?
To answer this question, we must build up our own perspectives because that is how we can submit to an answer and that is the good nature of human beings.I think that people have a free will and is given proper freedom to choose whatever they want as well as do any actions that they feel is right but in certain conditions, free will does not apply.In our modern generation, we usually choose what we want but we are forgetting that the choice can sometimes be influenced by the society around us as well as the tender situation.Having a free will can be one of the greatest pleasure but when coming to make a decision we can be easily provoked to do other things that we do not want to do. Having that free will means we can have vivid thoughts as to what we want to do with certain extent. For example, the addictive use of social media such as snapchat, instagram and messenger.I am using these examples as I am a often and active user in these modern apps and it is with my free will that I am choosing to use these apps as a mode of communication as well as other uses.But an example of influence would be me as a person started to listen to electronic dance music (edm) just because some of my other friends have a taste of it and got me interested into it.
