The personality type I had received from Maia Learning was ‘ISTJ’. After reading the description I found it very accurate to how I am as a person. It mentioned that I am ‘quiet, serious and conscientious. You typically think before you speak, and are pretty cautious about jumping into new experiences’. Although when discussing in class, I did find that there were a few overlaps. Whenever I come home from school, I find that I like to be alone, I like to do things to help me recharge my social battery. Although at the same time, if I haven’t been near friends or people in a while, I find that I want to meet up with them or go out in public.
As for the careers, I found that my passion does lie in having the freedom to pick a more unconventional career, which was also shown through the career quiz. However, it does clash with my personality test, as the ISTJ would be more of a practical worker. Interestingly, the career quiz suggested lots of therapist/counsellor options, which involve socialising and working with other people.
