Gender norms of the 1960s/70s:

In the 1960s the role of women changed, women started to apply for jobs and put more effort into getting the right education. They became more sophisticated and were frustrated about the limitations they were living with. This lead to the UK women’s liberation movement at the end of the 1960s and beginning of the 1970s.
