If you could do anything differently next time what would it be? Why?

I would review the content after every math class and practice some past paper questions every day. Because it is better if I could understand every topic well  instead of practice a lot a week before the exam.

If you could only remember two things from this exam process in the future what would they be? Why?

Use my time efficiently during exams and don’t be careless. I feel I spent too much time on one question in my mock and therefore affected my overall performance.

What would you tell yourself next year when you do the actual IB exam? Why?

The first thing would be– be confident, you can do it! I feel confidence is very important in solving math questions as if you believe that you can do it, then you will be able to do it. Don’t deny yourself when you see hard questions, read several times if you don’t understand the question. The second thing would be–don’t be careless!! Check your calculator. Read the question twice before you start doing it and make sure you don’t copy the question wrongly.

What was the most interesting aspect of the course so far? Why?

Solving difficult questions. Sometimes I read the question many times and still can’t find a way to solve it and don’t know where to start. It is interesting to understand the method after discussion.

Leaning new topics.  I find statistics very interesting especially binomial distribution and Poisson distribution.

What was the most challenging aspect and why?

Apply the content I learnt into solving the math questions. Sometimes I feel that I know the content well but I still find difficulties in solving some hard questions.
