LO7 – International Women’s Day

My english teacher is one of the women in my school who has had the most positive impact on me, as she has helped to build my confidence and resilience as a learner.

She treated us as equals in the classroom, providing different options and choices to accommodate to our own needs and learning styles. By giving me some autonomy over my learning, it made me feel more in control and motivated to learn. She sincerely listened to my ideas, and therefore, enabled me to become an independent critical thinker, which I use in almost all situations.
