Chinese Calligraphy Reflection 3 – LO2

In Chinese Caligraphy activity, we practised an unfamiliar skill. Using the soft pen to write isn’t common for modern people, and this skill requires a long term practice. In Chinese Caligraphy activity, we have practice books which we could use water to write on. We can follow the lines in the practice book, and write characters. To write characters in good quality, we need to write slowly and follow the lines using special experiences.

This demonstrated Learning Outcome 2: practising the calligraphy is quite challenging, and this had developed the skill of writing in soft pen, as well as the control of the hand movements.
