Dance showcase was an event I had been looking forwards to for a long time as it is such a great opportunity to showcase different dance styles, techniques etc. in one big show. As opposed to Culturama or Kahaani, it showcased more style based or theme based choreography of a higher level and standard.

I wanted to participate in this as I was curious to learn about all the three showcases our school holds for dance, as well as dance, being a big passion of mine. I think it will allow me to showcase the skills I have developed over the years through different dance classes I have taken and hopefully also teach me new styles I have not yet tried. I’m excited to work with a new group of people as my experiences in Culturama and Kahaani have allowed me to make new friends in a range of different grades and theses friendships have proven to last and enhanced my overall UWC journey.

I audition for three dances however only made two: Grease and Chicago with rehearsals being on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes.
