This year I decided to try something new and join Yearbook.  In Yearbook, there are different groups, each with a different purpose.  I chose to join photography as I love taking photos and want to become better at it.  I recently starting to get into photography due to my love for visual arts.  One of my goals for myself this year was to become more comfortable with a camera and develop my skills to be able to take more interesting shots.  (Learning outcome 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth)

Joining the photography team came with many responsibilities.  Throughout the course of the year, we will have to take photos of all the activities, services and sports in the school, along with photos of mentor groups and other events.  Although it did seem daunting at first, I realised that if each person pulls their own weight and takes responsibility for our own tasks we are fully capable of getting everything done.  (Learning outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively)
