Because I Am (BIA) aims to be a forum for the discussion of contemporary gender issues in our world. By challenging male and female stereotyping and questioning what we consider to be ‘gender norms’, we strive to change how gender is talked about in day-to-day conversations.

A Focus Group with a core mission but a fluid identity, our existence as a group is not tied to an NGO but rather a call for shared empathy and understanding to come together in discussion and action.
