We got the inspiration from an choreography called “Palace Banquet in Tang Dynasty”. It tells the story of a night when Emperor Gaozong li Zhi and Empress Wu Zetian of the Tang Dynasty held a banquet at Shangyang Palace in Luoyang. The Tang Dynasty was the most prosperous period in the China’s history. We intended to perform a grand ceremony in the Palace of the Tang Dynasty to celebrate the 50th anniversary of UWC. The elegant and graceful dance perfectly presents the traditional cultural image of the Prosperous Tang Dynasty on the stage, feeling the fascinating history and culture of China.
