We came back last week after one week of break, extremely excited to continue working with the different members of our GC and switched our groups for the first time.

Switching groups gave all GC members the opportunity to experience something new. Members were able to choose between the Direct, Indirect, Advocacy and Research groups, each of which focuses on a different aspect of collaborating with Daraja.

Older members and leaders of each group helped and guided their new members during the first session and introduced them to ongoing projects which the groups have been working on.

By switching groups, students were able to gain more expertise and also got to know different people. They were able to contribute different ideas to their groups and gave fresh perspectives and insights.

Students will now start working with their new groups to achieve their goals. We’re very excited for the many opportunities that await!
