Week 1- Basics and fundamentals of editing photos through the use of Adobe Lightroom

Adobe Lightroom 3.2.1 is an app used for photo editing, smarter organization, capturing photos, sharing photos.
Firstly, after downloading the app- I had a go at editing a photo using some of the different unknown settings, as a before. Then, I went and explored the in-app Lightroom tutorials, which take you through the process, step by step, explain the different settings (terms), and how to edit better photos.
Just a few of the setting I learned about, and what they do in adjusting a photo
- RGB curve
- Vibrance
- Noise reduction & colour noise reduction
- Tones
- Contrast
- Exposure
- Tint
- White/Black balance
- Texture- detail, smoothness
- Grain- size, roughness, detail
- Vignette- white/black- feathering, midpoint, m
- Linear gradient, and all it’s features
- Radial focus
- Healing/cloning- to remove or fix errors/ and or points that steal the attention from the main subject.
- Brush, and it’s features
& many other features!
