During these first 4 months of my NYAA service experience, I have been able to see how we, as a service group, are growing and progressing every lesson. At the start of my logging, we had only just begun the talent show process and had started brainstorming all the possible ways we could host the talent show, how to collect money, what would be most effective for advertising, etc. However now as I’m writing this, after going through the whole process, I can see how the steps we took helped lead to us hosting a successful talent show. The talent show has just finished, and I believe though there were many challenges, we were able to overcome them. For example, we had initially planned to do the talent show in person, but during our planning process we found out that we were only allowed to do it online. This caused some problems for us as we had to figure out what type of platform to use etc, but we ended up solving this by collecting donations by walking around the canteen and just displaying the videos there. Overall, I believe we have had quite a successful year until now, and I have enjoyed getting to know the rest of my service group!
