The session I found most useful was the second session where we had a break down the economics extended essay into smaller, easier to understand parts. The economics department has provided us with examples from past students that have successfully met the different criteria. We had a chance to work on our own to annotate the examples and then discuss in larger groups. From this, I had a better understanding of what is asked from me. I now have a rough idea of what my side headings and subtopics for the extended essay will be. Since I will not be able to collect sufficient data from now until the 1000 word submission, I plan on working on the introduction where I can use secondary data as well as start the theory aspect for each subheading.
