In school I only have one subject where I have a fixed mindset because I am generally a person of growth and the subject where I can’t see any is french.  It is a course with teachers who have very closed minds and it is a subject where you either get the content or you don’t.  There is no intermediate or in between for it and that causes a very large divide between students who are strong and students who aren’t and because of this I am very closed off to my french course.  I know and my teacher knows the highest grade I can achieve in this class is a 5 and that is why there is no room for potential growth in it.  That does not mean I will not try to get higher than that grade or to surpass the expectations but it is the most likely outcome for this course which is why I do not prioritize french as a top subject.
