I have finished most of the research for my EE using secondary sources and the first draft left me with a good understanding of the topic and question, but also a lot to improve on. After discussion with my supervisor, I have been recommended to add better visual graphs and more data examples. I was also advised on some out-of-syllabus economic theory which has allowed me to analyse my question to a to a deeper level. In addition, I also originally was looking at economic sustainability, but have slightly changed it to the water sustainability of Singapore. This specification has allowed me to have a clearer idea on how exactly I could structure my essay to answer my question. The first question was so broad that some of the information and data seemed random, fragmented, and unnecessary. With a clearer picture on the end goal, it allows me to organised my ideas to come together in a definitive final statement.
