Although season 4 was a short season with only 8 sessions due to project week and school schedule, I was able to learn not only physical techniques but also was able to apply growth mindset. Since it was my first year playing volleyball, I got a lot of help from the coach and fellow teammates. This was very helpful as I was able to see the improvement in each training. But most importantly, I applied growth mindset to encourage myself to concentrate and be motivated more, even when academics was very busy and stressful. Sometimes, it was more stressful because I was pulling the team back and was not able to play like I wanted to. Hence, it was at times frustrating on top of my school work. However, at the end of the day, it was a great experience for me to test my preseverance and acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses.
