This is a picture that I feel captures how my skills are developing as a result of CAS. For this season, I have an activity every single day after school, and as one would expect, time management has now become a critical part of my daily routine. I simply don’t have as much time to do all what I want and need to do as I did in the past, and this has led to me having to manage my time much more efficiently in order to stay on top of things. Previously, I would save all my work for when I came home, but since I simply don’t have as much time at home anymore, I always try and sneak in bits of work whenever I have free time, be it during breaks, free periods, or after school. I’ve also had to condense my daily routine at home in order to accommodate the rising workload of IB. Though it was a challenge at first, I can now say that I’m in the swing of things and am managing fairly well. Even if I don’t manage to get much work done, at least being in control of my time is important. I may waste my time, but I can’t let time waste me.
