Is BTS the best K-Pop band of all the time? Why?

My title is ‘Is BTS the best K-Pop band of all the time? Why?’

“Korean boyband BTS will make history by becoming the first Korean artists to perform a stadium show in the U.S.

The K-Pop group announced their first U.S. stadium show will be held on Oct. 6 in New York City at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, Billboard reports.

The show is the final stop of the North America leg of their Love Yourself world tour. BTS has already sold out more than a dozen shows in the U.S. and Canada.”

My answer is YES,on the one hand,I am a huge fan of BTS,If I stand from the perspective of others, I will think so. The Korean boom has been popular since a few years ago, and people’s attention is constantly approaching the Korean Wave. Those who look good and do what they are perfect are the “IDOL” in the mouth of the people. While the Korean group is gradually expanding, The pace of their growth and development has not expanded outward. Only the BTS team has brought the Korean Wave into a bigger and stronger country and music list, and has created a new miracle in the history of Korean Wave.

Since its debut in 2013, it has won awards and nominations at various awards ceremony and music programs. Such as: Billboard Music Awards, Shorty Awards, MTV European Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards and other awards.

They really made a history, and also changed people’s impressions and dislikes about the Korean Wave.

  1. 1) If I were answering the question you selected, one difference between your opinion and my opinion would probably be that I don’t ever listen to K-pop, which makes me indifferent about what’s going on in that scene. I wouldn’t have selected this question in the first place, but that is simply the result of differing tastes.

    2) The thing that makes the question you selected difficult to answer is the fact that no single band can ever be proven as “the best.” People will always have different opinions no matter what, and awards/record sales aren’t a good enough indicator. Though many people might share the opinion that BTS is the best K-pop band, there is no way of ever proving it.

    3) Your post now makes me wonder if we should be asking the following question: Why haven’t previous Korean bands been able to break into the US and what makes BTS special?

    • thank you for this ,Because I am their fan, I think they are the best, and others don’t care about me. I can’t control their thoughts, and because they rely on their own efforts to score the top of the music in other countries such as the United States. And won a lot of awards, so they will make them different and change the consistent style of the Korean Wave.

  2. What do you think of non-Korean fans? They can’t really understand the lyrics yet they are such huge supporters of this band. What don you think they like about their music? Also, what in your opinion was the point of their career that started it all?

    • thanks,Then they also have things they like. We can’t control others but don’t like someone or something. There are many types of music, so they may like rock or other types. It doesn’t matter.

  3. If i had to choose another opinion or way of looking at the post I would weigh out the pro’s and con’s as to ‘how BTS is the best K-pop band’ and come up to an unbiased answer. The differences that makes your question difficult to answer is that it is quite difficult to measure what ‘best’ is- many people have different opinion on best and hence this can influence their answers. I would now ponder upon the effects cultural integration in music.

    • thanks for it and maybe I am a fan of them, so I think they are the best. It doesn’t matter if others have different opinions.

  4. 1) If I were answering the question you selected, one difference between your opinion and my opinion would probably be that I think all their songs sound the same. I haven idea why they are so successful.

    2) The thing that makes the question you selected difficult to answer is how this this sudden epidemic of k-pop come to rise?

    3) Your post now makes me wonder if we should be asking the following question; why do non-Korean speakers who don’t even understand the language like their songs?

    • thank you for commenting and because they are working harder than others, they have such great achievements. People who don’t understand Korean are also because their songs and dances have a reason to understand them.

  5. If I were answering the question you selected, one difference between your opinion and my opinion would probably be I am not the huge fans of BTS, but still I am the fans of BTS.
The thing that makes the question you selected difficult to answer is they by achieving the rewards does not matter on they are the best or not, because if you really like them that you will accept everything.
Your post now makes me wonder if we should be asking the following question, what have they make the changes for this world, due to it is trendy that some actors by doing some contribute to benefit the world.

    • thank you for your comment and they changed people’s certain thinking about the Korean Wave
