DJ club (mid-point reflection)

DJ club this year has been extremly successful. Compared to last year, I am able to teach students higher level skills and mixing techniques, such as the use of the loop function and filters. Students are also able to keep up with the classes and enjoy what they are doing. Another thing that has been successful this year was that I am able to bond better with the students and create a really open environment where they can ask questions whenever they are confused or unsure with what is happening.

DJ club this year has been especially exciting as we were able to play for an audience –something we couldn’t do last year due to the lack of events and COVID restrictions. I played 2 30 minute sets in the morning to welcome students for the last week of school. This was a new challenging experience for me as it was my first time properly playing for a live audience, even though I have been DJing for over 3 years now.

(one of the set didn’t properly save so I don’t have it :|)
