The Issue we aim to work towards
The issue we are working towards solving is capability of growing vegetation in small spaces so that it is accessible to everyone. We hope that by teaching gardening skills not only by starting seeds but also learning how to refurbish old plants and transplant them to create more, we can educate our immediate community on the ease and rewards of gardening.
The Sustainable Development Goals
Our service aims to not only boost gardening in our school community but also raise awareness about the sustainability of gardening in cities like Singapore with very little free land. The SDG our service shares the strongest link to is SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Our main goal is to make gardening accessible to all so it can be incorporated as a sustainable practice within our community and extend out to families and neighbourhoods.
