Healthy Living – June

7th June

This month, near the beginning I am looking to complete the second part of my goal even without specifically looking at only badminton and finding different ways to live more healthily. Since I have already done my trip, which was the autumn trek, I have already hiked many times because I really enjoy walking and hiking in different terrain because I have the time to appreciate nature and the things around me.

Last weekend, because my friends have their expeditions in Summer, they need to do training, which entails hiking regularly to get used to walking long distances with different terrain and heights. This time I decided to join because I enjoy it and I also get to spend time with my friends.

We followed a trail in MacRitchie and went hiking for around three hours. This helped me improve my healthy living and has reminded me of my love for hiking, so this might be another way for me to improve my well-being in the future.

I think by this time, I have reached my goal, but I can still improve further by carrying this goal on for next year as well, so that i can aim to improve my skills a lot more for badminton as well as try and balance my diet and exercise to build a more healthy lifestyle, which could also include improving my sleep cycle so I can get a full night’s sleep every night to be able to feel refreshed and ready to learn in school.
