Welcome to Cognitive Rehabilitation with Apex Harmony Lodge! “Apex Harmony Lodge (AHL) is the first and only purpose-built Lodge for Persons with Dementia (PWD) in Singapore.” We are a local service that focuses on helping people with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in Apex Harmony Lodge located in Pasir Ris. We aim to encourage cognitive stimulation in the residents through the different activities we plan and engage in with the residents. At this lodge, there are three levels (level 1, 2 or 3) that the residents are put into depending on the severity of their condition. Our service works with the residents on the first floor who’s conditions are not as severe as those on the third level. We visit the lodge every Monday after school and from there, we have a short briefing session where we learn about how to better work with the residents before we go on to work on the activities we prepared with our designated residents.   (Link to read more about Apex Harmony Lodge)
