In this class we learnt about the ecocentric, anthropocentric and technocentric perspectives.

I believe I am mostly ecocentric as I believe in the ideologies strongly, but my actions align mostly with being technocentric. Over time I have become more aware of my harm towards the environment, so my thoughts have converted into actions, but not enough to make a great enough change. I believe that i cannot fully classify myself in one ideology because my actions and values are quite separate, as while I act I don’t necessarily think of the ecocentric side of things. This is what makes my value difficult as it is hard to manage or control everything I do.

I do not believe it is fair to pass on the problems to the next generations, though I also think it is unavoidable. Even if the new generation strongly fights for the environment, without the support and knowledge of other generations, it will not be possible to fix these problems.
