Culturama Uniform Sale
This year we were given the honor to have a booth collecting fundraisers for Kampot Khmer during Culturama. Culturama, being a big dance performance expressing many different countries represented in UWC, gave us the opportunity to talk to and spread awareness to the many students, faculty and family members involved in, or watching the performance.
About Us
We hosted a uniform sale this year during Culturama collecting fundraisers and raising awareness for the Chunkriel Language School. In the past the uniform sales have been exclusive to the middle school Kampot Khmer service, however fortunately, this year we were able to use the uniforms for a donation drive.
Re selling our pre loved uniforms is a great way of reducing waste, and can be targeted for students who want a cheaper alternative to the brand new uniform which can be quite pricy. In our sale we collected donations and were giving out uniforms with a donation suggestion of $5. In the end of the sale we were able to fundraise $45.
Overall it was a successful event in both collecting donations and finding some of the uniforms new owners.
