Unplug

For the unplugged event, high school musicians came together to preform an array of songs for the guests. With the music department, our service Kampot Khmer worked with Epic Arts to facilitize and sell food and drinks to raise money and bring awareness to the GC’s.

About

Through the profits from ticket and food sales, our service in combination with Epic arts raised money which all went to Epic arts and Chumkriel Language School.

During the unplugged event we sold tickets, food, drinks and accepted donations for Kampot Khmer and Epic Arts. Most of the food that we sold was handmade by people in Kampot Khmer. For the herb-infused water, we took herbs from our UWC rooftop garden to ensure that we are getting our resources from sustainable and safe sources. In total we raised a whopping 2000$ amongst the 2 services, concurrently the event educated and raised awareness about the cause and morals of our service.

Talent Quest

This year Kampot Khmer will be hosting a Talent Quest in order to help raise funds for the Chumkiel language school. In spite of covid stopping use from having our traditional fund raiser on the UWCSEA campus, we will be hosting this years fundraiser virtually! This allows for an oppurtunity for anyone to join who is intrested in not only helping raise money but also in celebrating talent.
