Psychology Blog Introduction

During my summer holidays, I was able to go back to my grandparents house and farm in New Zealand. I was able to see my cousins that I hadn’t seen in a very long time. This I think in relation to psychology showed the difference in culture and its influence on behaviour as, my cousins and I often disagreed a lot due to the different perspectives and opinions we gained due to our upbringing and culture. I believe this was due to the different educational system and environment in which they were brought up as they lived in the countryside going to a local New Zealand school, whereas I’ve lived in big cities going to international school. The environment could affect our decision-making process and cause biases in thinking as people have developed different experiences and skills.
