Throughout the day, I have come up with the subcategories of my EE and looked further into the meaning behind the text and the context of the time. I have learned a lot about the writers and directors of A Chorus Line. I’m looking at the depiction of desperation in A Chorus Line and the motif of escape in theatre. I am very proud of how far I have come in my EE with the research and overarching ideas throughout. I have found quotes from the writers and director of the play and know how I will apply them to my final essay. I believe I have a strong understanding and adequate research to support my essay and my points.
My next step is to make a skeleton plan/essay in regards to the ideas and quotes that I will use. This can later be used as the base of my essay, hopefully, it will also inspire more ideas within the essay and the text. Mainly built with possible topic sentences and ideas that can form the individual paragraphs and categories of my EE.
