After submitting my first draft and speaking with my EE supervisor, I know I have strong research and examples for my Extended Essay. However, I have to refocus and restructure my essay to include more analysis and restructure my essay to strengthen my essay. This will overall increase my understanding of the text and my practice of English writing and analysing skills. With advice from my supervisor, I am going to change my structure to look at characters and break off into further analysis from there. This is because we believe it will make a stronger argument for the final essay and form a deeper view of the text. Overall, my view on the text has changed to see the purposes and the reasoning behind the writers’ decisions for the musical that have given me a better understanding of the text.
