Project Week Final Post (LO3)

Project week was an amazing experience for myself and 4 others to experience what Singapore has to offer. After 3 long days of dedicating at least 5 hours per day for a creative or physical activity, I think that all 5 of us can say that we are extremely glad to have done project week to learn more about ourselves, but also all of the group members. I learnt that some of my group members who seem as though they are very sporty people have a very strong creative side which was learnt through committing 2 days to pottery classes with an instructor. This pottery lesson took a lot of failures in order to grow and create my final product that I am quite pleased with. Ultimately, I really enjoyed this experience especially considering that throughout the planning process I was probably looking forward to this activity the least. I’m really glad that my group members encouraged me to do this activity because I think I have learn a lot from it in terms of my pottery skills, but also skills such as patience and gratitude. On top of pottery, we also participated in bouldering for 2 straight days of 3+ hour sessions. After the first session my hands were completely torn up and I felt like there was no way that I could come back tomorrow and do the same thing. Through self-motivation I was able to bring myself to come back the next day and improve my climbing skills even further.
