Task Summary

The Mandala Assesment was a written piece done on the concepts of what makes up a person. It used symbols representing personal identity to create a visual Mandala and then explain the causes of these traits as well as what they mean in regards to the symbols through a 1500 worded essay.

Goals

Some goals on the piece may be to ensure that all areas that were covered during the unit such as in this case, nature vs nurture, are mentioned in the introduction to show that there is a full understanding and the ability to fully reflect on this unit is evident. Throughout my piece, I should also ensure that everything is expanded in terms of vocabulary.

Finally, my conclusion as missing some key points such as what I had learned about others through the unit as well as how what I had learned may impact my future decisions.

Action

In terms of ensuring that all topics are mentioned, following the criteria and using it as a checklist. This will also help in making sure that the conclusion is complete.  This will be using an ATL to achieve my goal.

If possible to also have the work reviewed by a peer in terms of checking grammar for sentence length and if all definitions and everything is expanded on.

Indicators

I will know that all key points have been mentioned because it would be as if, anyone could read the essay and understand it. Having a peer review that I have written may also help because another set of eyes would show different perspectives on all of the goals to be achieved.

The conclusion should summarise the essay and go that extra step further and also gives a feeling of being complete. The criteria would also mention all the summary points for the conclusion.
