11 Maths

This is a graph of my confidence level as the year progressed. At first, I was absolutely intimidated of HL maths because of all the hysteria and the fear that others were giving me. I thought that questions were going to be nearly impossible with very advanced topics. But after a few lessons, I learned that it was just a deception: the things we were doing during class wasn’t that difficult and my confidence started to increase greatly. Through this time, I learned the importance of frequent practice of maths because even if topics were easy, questions could be difficult and the best way to improve this was just practice and getting familiar with the questions. Eventually, we started to move on to slightly harder and new topics for me (Perms and combs + more advanced trig): confidence started to drop. Also, this was the time when we had our first long test
