What is the role of intuition in mathematics? How about imagination?

Sometimes you have this feeling that you need to do something. You don’t know why just something inside you saying that it’s the right thing. It’s called intuition. I think that it’s necessary for math. When you do something where you should find the right way of doing you can rely on intuition, also sometimes to see that something is wrong you need intuition because in some situations there is no logic description or facts that can lead you to that idea. Imagination is also a very important quality for a mathematician. You need to imagine something behind the frameworks. You need to see a lot of different variants and ways to solve the problem.
