I’ve had previous experience with acoustic guitar for around 2 years and I am now playing classical guitar for about 3 years now. I am planning to take my grade 5 guitar exam in June next year. My first strength is my hearing ability. I am able to hear notes being played and repeat the same note on my guitar via hearing only. This has enabled me to learn my pieces faster and enabled me to catch up on my pieces.I am also passionate about guitar and I really enjoy listening and playing, however, this last few months, it has been really hard to get weekly practices in because of my tight schedule in the IB. I feel that I have been lacking in my performances because I don’t practice enough, and I consider that time management is a weakness for me.However it is never too late as I have just identified my weakness, and because of this activity I am now aware of my strengths and my areas upon where I have to improve on. With this in mind I will try my best to re-organise my schedule in order to prioritise guitar practices over other activities in my daily life
