Due to the opening of restrictions, we were able to have a session. Unfortunately, the lion’s team (premier team) haven’t been given the OK to start training, I had a session with the open group. During our session, we talked about how our club runs, in terms of the sustainability of the way we run. We used to have plastic cups for drinking water from. Although it wasn’t banned to use plastic cups, we realised it was highly unsustainable as we contributed to single use plastic trash. Therefore the management staff and coaching staff came to an agreement that these cups will not be provided anymore, and water bottles will be brought by each individual. The club is now running more ethically, by practising more sustainable methods of operation.
