Interim reflection EE

To be honest, I found the topic I chose to be challenging, because it not only meant understanding and reading 2 advanced philosophical texts, but also because they lead me to challenging my own beliefs.  I couldn’t process the vast amount of information by reading and taking notes, so I started having discussion and debates which in terms of organising my thought and building up coherent arguments for my EE resulted in being extremely helpful.

Rather than just understanding the words on the page, I managed to internalize them and understand them in the bigger picture, of the political scene in the present. The debates helped me link me ideas to one another. Slowly the process started becoming a means to understand, challenge and develop my personal ideas on political philosophy.  While this lead me to going on on a tangent at times, it made the research process more than just research; it made it a personal reflection of my long held beliefs.
