IB Diploma Programme
For the last two years in school, I am following the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. It emphasises being a well-rounded learner of not only knowledge but skills. Its nature as an academically demanding course makes it excellent at teaching time and stress management as well. I think this system really aligns with who I am as a learner, because I believe that, although being “pointy” may be good to start a career path, it will not promote making good choices as a global citizen throughout your whole life. Basically, I believe that this 2 years of hard work will ensure that my education is not just to pass some exams, but to prepare me for a life lived to the fullest.
I am taking Geography, Global Politics, and Physics at Higher Level, and Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches), Japanese Literature, and English Language and Literature at Standard Level.
